June 10: Welcome to Vegas!

Las Vegas is right on the horizon! We made it!

Route 66, Hummers, buffet, birthday and Las Vegas!

Leaving the Grand Canyon today on our way to Vegas. I bet that everyone is so excited. Don't get me wrong, here it is beautiful, but come on, it's Vegas baby. But if you think that the day is just us in the bus, you are so wrong. There is so much in the way that the "long" 5 hours driving just looked like 10 minutes of fun that we hoped that would never end. Route 66 was one of the stop that impressed everyone, specially for being the city that inspired the movie "Cars". Pictures on the middle of the street and a lot of shopping.

A couple more hours driving we get to Vegas. If you never came here, you would never be able to imagine how beautiful this city is. And with belo, became gorgeous. Hampton Inn is beautiful, and as soon as everyone got their rooms' keys, we head up to the pool. We stood at the hotel until we go out to dinner. Buffet was DELICIOUS. Food of all types. Today it is too Robert's birthday. He is from Germany. We sang birthday song, and he got a cupcake. Very cool night right? WRONG.....  It is a very AWESOME night and it is not even done.....

Where to go now? Get the bus and head to the hotel??....... Noooo, with belo you get a limo for a night tour at Vegas. And a little extra,  the limo, it is a just HUMMER LIMO. That's right. Hummer limo. First stop at Bellagio casino hotel, for a great water show. It is beautiful and really cool. At Fremont Street in Vegas, where there was the first casino, there was pretty cool  screen in the ceiling and a live show. And to finish the night in Vegas' style, we went to the "Welcome to Vegas" sign. A lot of picture and emotion for being in one of the most known sign in the whole wild world. Which of was after that go back to our respective limos, which was different colors each, and we head to the hotel. It is pretty late and we are very tired, specially because tomorrow will be walking in Vegas the whole day. So as soon as we get at the hotel, we go all to our rooms, and we go to bed.

Now tell me, when do you expect a day like this, being the fourth day of our trip?? No words for belo, but I think that a very big THANK YOU, it's a start. This day was nothing less than AWESOME.
